My Story
I was raised with dogs and traveled with my mom to shows as a young girl. My mom raised English Springer Spaniels when I was a toddler. I could be found many mornings down sleeping in the puppy pens. When I graduated college, I got a Golden Retriever, Abby, and began in dog sports. I participated in Agility with Abby. My mom purchased our first Miniature Poodle, Ready, and we trained Ready to do Agility. CH MACH 2 Funtyme's Are You Ready, MXG MJG NF was my first dog to earn an Agility Championship.
I then became interested in becoming an Agility Judge and have judged for TDAA, USDAA and AKC. I am also an AKC Scent Work Judge and particpate in Scent Work, Barn Hunt, FAST CAT, Dock Diving and Conformation.
I fell in love with the Biewer Terriers in 2017 when a friend had bought one. I bought 3 Biewer Terriers from Russia and had them flown to Charleston, SC. Vinnie, Rim and Zuzka joined us in late 2017. Vinnie became a Therapy Dog and would dress in stylish vests and visit the memory care units. Patients loved to see Vinnie dressed up. Unfortunately, Vinnie had Juvenile Cataracts and was neutered. Rim was my Conformation and FAST CAT dog. He had gorgeous structure, kick and drive. Rim developed liver issues and seizures and was also neutered. Zuzka, my foundation bitch, was on the larger side for Biewer Terriers at 9 lbs. She had a beautiful topline and produced my first Bred By Champion, Maple.
I am a member of the Biewer Terrier Club of America and an AKC Breeder of Merit for Biewer Terriers and Miniature Poodles. I am also an approved Mentor for Judge's Education and the Treasurer for the Biewer Terrier Club of America. I breed for health and temperament. My puppies are raised in my home and I am fortunate to work from home which allows me to spend an incredible amount of time with my puppies so that when they go to their new homes they are well adjusted and socialized puppies.
My dogs are my family pets first and show dogs second. Biewer Terriers are a wonderful breed that get along with many different breeds. I do also breed Miniature Poodles under the prefix; Eaglehilll-South and have found that my Biewer Terriers and Poodles do very well together. Our poodle website is: www.classicpoodles.com.
